What do I need to wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. You can wear socks or bare feet. 

Do I need to bring a mat?

Yes please! All other equipment will be provided. If you are thinking of buying your own equipment for home practice you can try things out in class first or contact me for advice,

What level of fitness do I need to start?

Classes are open to everyone provided you can get on and off a mat. Exercises will be tailored to suit individual needs following your introductory assessment. Classes are mixed ability.

Are there age restrictions?

Classes are open to anyone over the age of 16 years provided you can get on and off a mat.

I am recovering from an injury - are these classes suitable?

I carry out a 1:1 introductory assessment with everyone before they attend classes so that I can adapt exercises to suit your needs. I also offer 1:1 or small group sessions if you are more comfortable with this initially. 

Do classes run anywhere else?

Classes are only in Dalmeny church hall at present. I can come to you if you are local and have the space (please see small group and 1:1 sessions information on 'classes' page). 

Do you offer private physiotherapy?

At present I only offer private pilates sessions. Pilates can be used to treat many conditions but please note that individual and small group sessions are Pilates based not physiotherapy sessions.

Do you offer ante/post natal pilates?

I am trained in ante and post natal Pilates but do not run specific classes at present. Please contact me if you would like to arrange 1:1 or small group sessions or if you are interested in bigger classes - if I get lots of interest I am happy to organise classes as I know there aren't many in Queensferry at present!
